Tugse Basak earned a Bachelors in Industrial Product Design at Doğuş University, İstanbul. Basak has over 12 years of experience as a graphic designer, working in companies across various sectors. In her role as a Visual Designer at Sabancı University in İstanbul, she created social media visuals, newsletters, website banners, and promotional materials for events and exhibitions. Additionally, Basak collaborated as a freelancer with esteemed organizations, such as Sakıp Sabancı Museum.

Basak’s experience includes designing all the brand’s print materials and digital visuals, including newsletters, social media, website banners, UI designs, and presentation designs across multiple platforms.

Joseph Adams

Joe Adams holds a B.A. from Villanova University, located outside of Philadelphia, where he studied Communication, Media Production, and Political Science. Originally from Boston, USA, his academic background combines media production with a focus on storytelling and communication.

He brings international experience in media production, having produced and edited social justice documentaries in Kenya and Brazil, as well as university and digital media projects. His work also includes contributions to productions in the United States in collaboration with PBS FRONTLINE and Alkemy X, supporting award-winning content.

After graduating, Joe was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to the Czech Republic, where he taught in Zlín at a secondary film school. After a year immersed in the Czech creative and academic environment, he relocated to Prague to continue his work in media.

At Anglo-American University, Joe develops and produces content that supports the university’s marketing and communications efforts, with a focus on impactful storytelling and audience engagement.

Mariia Shvachko

Mariia studied marketing, finding her passion in design where she can make visuals that bring ideas to life. She has been working in design since 2018 as a designer for magazines, creating complete layouts. Mariia creates branding, printed and digital banners, social media posts, merch, as well as packaging and logos. She also has extensive experience with print production. Mariia works on the designs for all AAU’s community events, promoting the university and helping students be aware of what’s happening on campus.

Oksana Muse leads the Brand & Communications team within the Marketing department. She is responsible for ensuring brand consistency across all university channels and for aligning visual identity and messaging with institutional strategy.

Oksana has nearly two decades of experience in media and marketing communications. Her areas of expertise include brand strategy, content production, and integrated communications. She has worked with renowned international advertising agencies, such as Havas and BBDO, and contributed to campaigns for clients like Dubai Tourism, Mars, Ensana Health Spas, Julius Meinl Living, and Raiffeisenbank.

She holds a master’s degree from the University of Finance and International Trade and is CIPR-certified, having earned a Digital Communications Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. She is active as a mentor, speaker, and writer.

Jeta Sahatqija, MSc.

Jeta is responsible for managing all student affairs, AAU’s recruitment activities as well as our team of admissions counselors. She also provides direct support to potential students by answering questions and explaining the programs that AAU offers as well as our application procedures. Jeta is also happy to meet with prospective students in person to discuss the possibilities of joining our university.

In general, the admissions team is here to make the process of becoming an AAU student as efficient and smooth as possible, feel free to stop by their office anytime.
