Lourdes Daza Aramayo is an economist and international academic leader with a consolidated trajectory in institutional governance, university internationalization, and bi-regional cooperation. She is one of the founders of the Anglo-American University in Prague and the Founder and Director of the Latin American & Caribbean (LAC) Business and Studies Center.

She holds an engineering degree in Political Economy with a specialization in socio-economic data analysis and a Ph.D. in Economic Policy from the University of Economics, Prague. Her academic and strategic expertise focuses on international trade, regional integration, and interregionalism, with particular emphasis on European Union–Latin America and Caribbean relations.

From her foundational role, she has contributed decisively to the institutional development and international projection of the Anglo-American University. Within the framework of its institutional evolution in 2024, she actively participated in consolidating a modern academic platform oriented toward academic excellence, international cooperation, and strategic positioning in Central Europe.

Her leadership integrates strategic vision, academic diplomacy, and interinstitutional articulation, fostering partnerships with universities, multilateral organizations, and public and private sector actors. Through her work, the Anglo-American University strengthens its presence in the academic and policy dialogue between Europe and Latin America in a rapidly transforming global environment.
